Zotac ZBox ID84 Plus Home Theater PC with GeForce GT 520M

Zotac one of the brand that is known for its computer hardware products and became one of the market leader for Nettop devices with their the ZBox series, reported are preparing a new MiniPC and known as the Zotac ZBox ID84 Plus.

If viewed from the exterior design like previous generations, this device has a typical design from Zotac, with square-shaped and there is a circle in the middle and also an antenna.

This device is suitable as a home theater PC, and although small but still offers good performance because it strengthened by an nVidia GeForce GT 520M 512MB discrete GPU and 1.86GHz Atom D2550 dual-core processor with  2GB of of memory, so to play the high-definition video will run smoothly, maybe even some specific 3D games.


Zotac provides a 320GB hard drive as storage media, and offers complete connectivity such as Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, DVI outputs, two USB 3.0, four USB 2.0 ports, and do not forget there is also a remote control with USB IR receiver which will facilitate the user to operate it.


The Zotac ZBox ID84 Plus based on several sources will be launched at a price around 330 EUR.

It seems the Android Stick PC devices that have size as a USB FlashDrive increasingly in demand, because appears a news there is a similar device and known as the iPPea TV. This device is the result of collaboration between the MIPS Technologies and iPPea, and interestingly is now available to pre-order for just $50.

With the iPPea TV, users can easily to change a HDTV to SmartTV via HDMI port on the TV, so you can  run Android apps, surf the web or play games on a big screen as you have. If viewed from the specification the iPPea TV run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and powered by 1.2 GHz JZ4770 processor (MIPS-Based XBurst CPU) whose performance is also supported by 512MB of Ram.

The iPPea TV Android 4.0 ICS miniPC has also supported Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, provides 2GB of internal storage that can still be expanded through microSDHC card slot, and supports HD 1080p playback. Each of the sales package its offer optional accessories including an HDMI extension cable, a USB-to-Ethernet adapter, mini QWERTY keyboard and complete with a gyroscopic sensor.

Giada D2305 miniPC-Powered by Intel Ivy Bridge Processor

Giada a computer device company from China, back to present a mini PC, called the Giada D2305. This device has dimensions of only 9" x 6.9" x 2.2", although small this device has been reinforced with  Intel Ivy Bridge processor, with multiple options processor such as Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7.

The performance of the MiniPC is also supported by 4GB Ram expandable to 8GB, and support the graphics from Nvidia, available options the NVIDIA GT640 or GT610 to produce the maximum graphics quality of this mini PC. So if you want to play 3D games and HD video, this device will run smoothly.

The Giada D2305 has a storage capacity of 500GB and also has several connectivity such as 3xUSB 3.0 ports, 2xUSB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, a flash card reader, Ethernet, WiFi, HDMI, DVI, and S/PDIF.

Some other interesting features on offer are 7.1 channel HD audio, a wireless remote control, options include a Intel mSATA SSD, and slot-loading optical drive, and many more. The Giada D2305 will be available in the US and Canada starting in July, with price range of $680.
