Research In Motion(RIM) finally officially
announced its latest budget friendly smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 9320,
which is the twin brother of the Curve 9220, which was launched. Both
smartphones has the same design, with a QWERTY keyboard and also has BlackBerry
Messenger(BBM) dedicated keys. but the Curve 9320 has better specs compared
with the Curve 9220.
The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is supported with
3G network while his twin brother still rely on GPRS and EDGE, but both use the
same operating system, the BlackBerry OS 7.1. The new Curve 9320 come with 2.44
inches with image resolution of 320 x 240 pixels with a thickness of only 12.7
mm, slim and stylish design.
This smartphone supports HSDPA technology,
7.2 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps. and also equipped with 3.2MP camera, with geo
tagging, image stabilization and LED flash, to optimize camera performance. and
it also become another differentiator of Curve
9220.
The
Curve 9320
has been filled by social networking applications Facebook and Twitter.
RIM also provides
Social Feeds 2.0 feature let users more easily update
to a variety of different social networks.
Moreover, its offer features such as 512 MB
ROM, 512 MB RAM with microSD up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio,
MP3/MP4 player, and 1450 mAh battery capable to 7 hours of talk time and 18
days standby.
According to some sources this smartphone is
the next generation of Blackberry Curve 9300 is popularly known as the
Blackberry Curve 3G. Carlo Chiarello, EVP, Smartphone Business at Research In
Motion, stating that the Blackberry Curve 9320 is designed to facilitate users
to keep connected with social media.
