If Apple has a display technology called the Retina Display, Samsung has the Super Amoled technology, and nokia with the ClearBlack Display, LG also did not want to fall behind who developed a typical screen with a name of the NOVA Display.
One of the smartphone from LG that has a NOVA display technology is the Optimus Black, which was released in the last year. This smartphone device is also the first using the NOVA Display technology, that is a screen with the highest brightness level and energy efficient.
Design : This device has dimensions of 122 x 64 x 9.2 mm and weighs approximately 109 grams, comes with an elegant design and all edges slightly curved. For the body is generally divided into two parts, the glossy plastic on the screen and doff in the rear casing.

Performance : The LG Optimus Black run on Android 2.2 Froyo(upgradable to 2.3 GingerBread version), powered by 1GHz processor whose performance is also supported by 512MB of Ram.
For storage media the Optimus Black provides 1GB internal memory, that can still be expanded by microSD up to 32GB capacity, and also there is a bonus memory in the sales package(2GB/8GB depending on carrier).
Inside this smartphone also has a 1500mAh battery, who claimed to be able for up to 375 hours of stand-by time, up to 360 minutes of talk time, and up to 1 hour 39 minutes of video talk time.
Camera : The Optimus Black equipped with 5MP rear camera 2592x1944 pixels resolution with LED Flash and a focus mode, which supports macro, continuous focus, face tracking and manual focus. Other features are scene modes, ISO (up to 800), white balance, color effects and shot mode.
In the front, users will also find a 2MP camera, that can record video up to 640x480 resolution(VGA). While for the video recorder in the main camera supports 720p 1280x720 HD resolution with several features such as white balance, color effects and flash.
Connectivity : The Optimus Black Android smartphone work on Quadband GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/1700/2100 with speeds up to 7.2Mbps. Another connectivity are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct, DLNA, WiFi tethering, and also has a-GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.
Default Applications : App Advisor (this application will suggest appropriate applications be installed on your LG mobile phone). Car Home(this application will facilitate the use of mobile phones while driving, with six large icons that contains shortcuts to Navigate, Contacts, Call Log, Dial, Music and Voice Search).
