Motorola will soon launch a new smartphone
from the RAZR series for China
market and known as the Motorola RAZR V MT887. Unlike the RAZR Maxx which has
advantages in a large capacity battery, but this new device has a thinner size,
and is supported by the latest Android operating system 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
version. While the RAZR Maxx run on Android v2.3.6 Gingerbread default operating
system(upgradable to v4.0) and for other specifications the both device is
almost the same.
The Motorola RAZR V MT887 come with 4.3
inches capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, whose
performance is supported by Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with 1GB of Ram memory.
This device has an 8MP camera capable of producing images with resolutions up
to 3264x2448 pixels as well as 1080p video recording.
The new RAZR smartphone has dimension of
128.5 x 65.8 x 8.4 mm and weight around 125 grams, and also offers some other
interesting features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Li-Ion 1750 mAh
Battery which is claimed to be used for up to 14 hours talk time/up to 240
hours standby.
The device operates on 2G GSM and 3G
TD-SCDMA network. Unfortunately there is no information about price and release
date.
