There's an interesting news on the mobile
world, because it will soon present a new operating system, the Ubuntu OS for
smartphone devices. Canonical, commercial sponsor of Ubuntu rumored will
release this operating system next year. But, when Mark Shuttleworth, founder
of Canonical, asked to be released this year or next year, he simply answered
'maybe' with no mention at the time exactly.
Ubuntu has completed the final version of
the computer desktop platform and it plans to focus on long-term goal to expand
into all computing platforms including mobile phones, tablet and smart TV.
Reportedly, the Ubuntu phone operating
system currently under development, and Canonical is looking for Business
Development Manager for Ubuntu Phone OS which will be responsible for building
relationships with mobile vendors and telecommunications companies.
Ubuntu OS for smartphone uses the same
kernel on Android. Bernard also claims users will feel the same experience with
Ubuntu for the desktop version, including the Ubuntu Software Center and the
interfaces.
When it was released, this operating system
will not be instantly downloaded for free as a desktop version, but at first
will be given to the smartphone device makers.
