Thomson X-View 2-Dual Sim ICS Smartphone with 5.3" Screen

The Samsung Galaxy Note is the king for large-screen smartphone, compared with other smartphone screen sizes in general. So the device is said to be a combination of smartphones and tablet, because if it says a smartphone, the screen is too large and if it says a tablet the screen is too small.

But apparently one of Samsung's flagship device will have a new rival and called the X-View 2 from Thomson. This device has a screen size of 5.3"(480 x 800 pixels) but has a lower resolution than the Galaxy Note, and according to some sources, will soon be introduced at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, Germany, on 30 August.

In addition to having the big screen, several other advantages of this device is a dual sim slot features, and powered by 2500mAh battery capacity so the device is certainly able to survive longer.

The X-View 2 is the first smartphone made by Thomson and run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, powered by single-core 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. The Thomson also provides 1 GB of ROM  which can be expanded via microSD (up to 32GB) and behind the body there is a 5MP camera which features LED flash, autofocus and video recording.

Unfortunately for detailed specifications and pricing information is still unknown, so we wait for further information.
