Samsung presents their latest variant of their Android media player with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1). As the name implies, this gadget has a 4.2 inch wide screen with a resolution of 800 × 480, and will be available in two capacity options, 8 GB and 16 GB version.
The Galaxy Player 4.2 is based on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and is targeted for users who need a media player as well as gaming devices. Previously this device was introduced at the MWC 2012 in the end of february and is ready to compete with the iPod, although still not heard the news for the presence of the latest iPod Touch.
Single-core processor with 1GHz speed will be the control center or brain of the device which has dimensions of 124 x 66 x 9mm and weighs around 118 gram.
