MegaFon, one of the Russian mobile carrier has just announced their own-brand Android smartphone and called the MegaFon SIM+. One of the excellent features of this smartphone has dual sim slots, so the users can use two sim cards in one device. If viewed from the design the MegaFon SIM+ smartphone has a thickness of only 10.6 mm and weight of about 149 grams so you could say this smartphone is quite thin and light.
The MegaFon SIM+ work on GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800MHz, WCDMA 900/2100MHz HSDPA/HSUPA networks, and powered by 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor with 512MB of Ram memory. On the front there is a touch screen with a size of 4-inch with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and also front-facing camera for video calls.
The MegaFon SIM+ smartphone run on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system, provides 512MB of ROM and MicroSD card up to 32GB, and also offered other features such as a 4MP rear camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM radio and a battery power that can be used up to 7 hours of talk time and 168 hours of standby time.
According to some sources, this smartphone will be available on July 16, 2012, at a price of around 9900 rubles.
