Philips W732-Dual Sim Android with 2400 mAh Battery

Philips one of the leading electronics companies has announced their new Android smartphone, and known as the Philips W732. One of the advantages that attract the attention of this smartphone, is have a 2400 mAh battery capacity, so relatively large for a smartphone. Not only that, the Philips is also implementing energy saving technologies in the use of this battery so its very effective and maximum.

For the ability of talk time the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX is better, which able to 21 hours of talk time while the Philips can last up to 13 hours. But reasonable, because Motorola has a battery capacity of a much larger(3300mAh), but in other side, for web browsing activity is more complex and the energy consumption of the IPS LCD screen on the Philips W732 more power efficient than the Motorola RAZR MAXX that use the AMOLED screen.

So for web browsing activities,the Philips W732 better than the Motorola RAZR MAXX, by comparison 10.5 hours of continuous browsing for Philips and 7 hours and 23 minutes for Motorola. Based on sources in Phonearena, the AMOLED screen consume more energy when displaying a white color on the screen, as we all know the majority website is white color.

If viewed from the specifications, the Philips W732 run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and powered by 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6575 single-core processor, with a screen size of 4.3-inch 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Moreover, other features offered are 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA/5.76 Mbps HSUPA network and also hot-swappable dual-SIM card slot.

These devices will be present in China, with several colors such as black, pink, green, white, and blue. But unfortunately there is no information about price and availability for global markets
