1. Turn On the Contacts and File Encryption
It's easy you just go to Options> Security> Encryption, then click the Encrypt. Mark the contacts option and Media File, press the back button and click Save.
2. Backup Data to Computer
To try this way you must have a BlackBerry Desktop Software, which can be downloaded for free via this link ( http://id.blackberry.com/services/desktop/ ). After you install this application on the computer then run it and click the "Back up now" adjust the settings to your needs.
3. Protect your BlackBerry by using the password
sometimes we forget to put our smartphone, so if one day found others people, by using the password will prevent others from accessing data on the BlackBerry without your permission.

Go to Options> Security> Password, then give the mark on the Enable option, and click to Set Password. Specify the password and better that is memorable and unique, if all steps are completed the BlackBerry will be safe after 30 min is not used.
4. Backup Files to a Memory Card that you have
Users can also backup via external memory card, on the main menu click Setup> Device Switch> Using a Media Card> Save Data. Click Continue, then enter a keyword in the Password field and repeat the Confirm column. Click Save, wait until the backup process is complete.
For files that have been backed up will be a file that has been compressed, and if one day you need your files again just restored back.
