The Casio, a company from Japan that we know as the watchmaker, finaly did not want to be left to enter the Tablet PC market, which will launch the Casio V-T500 Tablet. This device is very tough and suitable for outdoors with extreme conditions, because its also able to survive even dropped by a height of 1 meter, resistance to humidity, dust and dirt.
The Casio V-T500 Tablet PC run on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system and supported by dual-core processor TI OMAP 4460 with a clock speed of 1.5GHz and 1GB RAM. To facilitate the use of these tablets also supports digital pen, but sold separately.
The new rugged Tablet come with 10.1-inch screen, and equipped with dual camera, located in front and rear and both have the same resolution(ie 5MP). Moreover, other features offered are 16GB internal memory, WiFi 802.11. a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Near Field Communication, port USB, mini USB, as well as mini HDMI output.
However, if users want to connect via HSPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS, Casio offers a series of other tablets, and known as the Casio V-T500GE. Unfortunately, the Casio has not provided official prices and does not explain when this tablet will be launched.
