Raspberry Pi Mini PC Can Run on Android 4.0 ICS

There is a super mini-PC devices and few months received much attention, so making it a phenomenal. The device is Raspberry Pi which was released in February, and the originally idea was to provide a small and inexpensive computer for children to learn the basics of programming.

This device consists of two versions, model A released at a price of $25, while model B for $35 U.S. Dollars. The Raspberry Pi powered by ARM11 processor and was also equipped with a GPU that can play BluRay-quality graphics, even according to some sources have been much in demand to build a robot.

This mini computer has a USB port and 128 Mb of RAM on the Model A, while for model B there are 2 USB port, 256 MB RAM, and Ethernet Connectors. In addition, HDMI Out is also available so you can connect to a TV or monitor with an inexpensive adapter.

The Raspberry Pi makers recommend a Linux-based operating system, Debian to handle the hardware. Even they also have made a special operating system, called the Raspbian OS who claimed to be more suitable, and can be downloaded for free via the official website the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Which makes it more interesting, Developers of Broadcom, Naren Sankar managed to porting Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in order to operate at the Raspberry Pi mini computer, and both can work well but still needs development.

Ported Android 4.0 ICS to the Raspberry Pi mini PC will extend the functionality of these devices, that was originally created for learning in computer science, but now would be more extensive functions such as multimedia.
