Samsung Galaxy Stellar(Verizon)-Entry Level Smartphone with Dual Interface Option

About a month ago there was a rumor of the Samsung Jasper that will soon be launched, and now finally the smartphone has been officially announced by Verizon Wireless and has the official name of Samsung Galaxy Stellar.

One thing that is attracting the attention of this device is come with dual interface option : Starter Mode for new Android users (simple home screen with preset widgets) and Standard Mode. And like the Galaxy Relay 4G which will be launched by T-Mobile, the Galaxy Stellar also has a SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise) certificate for business use, so also support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, VPN and MDM support, and On Device Encryption.

When viewed from the specifications, this smartphone will come with a 4-inch touchscreen with resolution of 480 x 800px WVGA, run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and boasts the Qualcomm’s dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor.

As a smartphone that will be launched by Verizon, the Samsung Galaxy Stellar also supported by 4G LTE network that offers super fast access, with the ability to download speeds of 5 to 12 megabits per second while the upload speed of 2 to 5 Mbps.
