Lower-middle segment may be a potential market so some smartphone manufacturers interested in entering this market segment. One of them is Sony Mobile which not only entered the high end smartphone market and launches their new budget friendly smartphone called the Sony Xperia J. This smartphone was announced by Sony at the IFA 2012 event held in Berlin, Germany along with two other new smartphones, namely the Xperia T and V.
Although the Xperia J smartphone aimed at consumers of low-middle class, this device still has interesting specifications such as run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and come with a 4-inch screen with resolution of 480x854 pixels.
The Xperia J has a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor whose performance is also supported by 512MB Ram memory, provide 4GB of data storage and still can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot. On the back of the smartphone is equipped with a 5MP camera with 4x digital zoom capability and LED flash, while on the front this phone offers a VGA camera.
For users who like to listen to music there is an Walkman application and supported by xLOUD Experience audio filter technology, so also will produce clear stereo sound. When viewed from its design the Xperia J looks cool with three color options : black, white, pink, and gold color, even has a slim body with a thickness of only 9.2mm. But unfortunately the prices are still unknown
