Not long after
Windows Phone 8 has been officially announced, HTC reported, is preparing three
new smartphones that will use this operating system. And all smartphones has
code name of the Rio , Accord, and Zenith.
Previously, HTC
has also released a smartphone with Windows Phone OS 7.5 Mango, namely the HTC Radar. Conviction of HTC to release Windows Phone smartphones, because HTC's
vision as a vendor with an open OS platform. In addition, Windows Phone market
share also increased, and Applications in Windows Phone Marketplace also has been
increased to 100,000 applications.
Smartphone with
code a name of the HTC Rio will be aimed at entry-level segment which will come
with 4" screen 480x800 resolution, equipped with 5MP camera with 720p
recording capabilities, and also 14.4Mbps HSPA, 1 Ghz processor Snapdragon
Qualcomm MSM8227 S4 Plus chip and 512MB RAM.
The second is the
HTC Accord, and will come with 4.3" screen Super LCD 2 display, 8 MP
camera with 1080p video recording capability, HSPA connectivity, NFC, and
dual-core processor(Qualcomm MSM8260A likely) with 1GB RAM memory.
And the last is
the HTC Zenith, which is a high end smartphone class and will present with
4.7" screen Super LCD 2, 8MP camera with 1080P video recording
capabilities, HSPA+ connectivity, and the processor likely will be powered by a
quad-core processor from Qualcomm.
For the release date, rumored the HTC Rio and Accord will be available
in October, while the HTC Zenith would be released before the new year.
