U.S. Cellular launches the Alcatel OneTouch Premiere Budget Friendly QWERTY Phone

As we all know if Alcatel is a company from French, and more often produce smartphones with a more affordable price than some competitors. Recently the company in cooperation with U.S. Cellular to release a quick massaging device, and called the Alcatel OneTouch Premiere.

As a smartphone is designed to make it easier to type messages, the Alcatel OneTouch Premiere has a QWERTY keyboard, and offers several features such as run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and brings a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display.

According to some sources the new Alcatel device is the US Cellular’s first premium messaging phone, and interestingly offered at an affordable price is only $ 29.99 with contract.

If viewed from the design and specifications owned, this smartphone is very similar to the Venture smartphone released by Virgin Mobile. Even many who argue if this QWERTY device is a re-branding the Virgin Mobile’s Venture, which recently has been launched.


The Alcatel OneTouch Premiere has dimension of 4.7 x 2.3 x 0.5 inches and weighs 4.3 oz, also offers several features such as a 2MP rear-facing camera, a microSD card slot (free 2 GB memory card), Wi-Fi, EV-DO Rev A, GPS, and a 1,300 mAh battery.
